Bulma's search for five more Dragon Balls leads her to a remote valley and to Goku, who is in possession of one of the balls.

The two strangers begin their relationship with Goku's naivete getting on Bulma's nerves, but after Goku saves Bulma's life, they join forces in search of the remaining four Dragon Balls. Deep within the core of the Earth a fire rages. Within the heart of this fire dwells the Eternal Dragon, A magical beast of limitless power that can be summoned from his fiery lair only when the seven magic Dragon Balls - now scattered over the face of the Earth - are found and brought together.
