Shichiri Tasuke is just your average 14 year-old boy in many aspects. His likes, his dislikes, however - as his father explores the depths of China in all its mystery - Tasuke is left by himself at home.

Concerned for his young boy, Tasuke's father sends back a magical ring which is said to provide protection to the pure-hearted. Little did either of them know that protection would come in the form of a beautiful angel named Shao Lin. Shao Lin serves as Tasuke's protector, unfortunately this means she'll even go as far as to booby-trap his home from intruders.
