This page explains how to get around the store, and how to order items from us.

If you are on our store's homepage, you will see a banner at the top that says 'Robert's Anime Corner - Anime Store', followed by my welcome message and links to the other sections within the site. Most of the pages in the store will have a button bar at the top. You can always get back to the store's home page by clicking on 'Robert's Anime Corner Store' at the top of the page.

Finding What You Want

From the home page of the store, there are two ways to find what you want:

The home page has direct links to different categories of merchandise, sometimes individual items, and informational sections of the store. Just click on them to proceed to that section.

My store is also fully searchable. Click on the Search button on the home page tool bar, or from the tool bar on any other page, then enter the key words that you want to search for.

Anime Store Jargon: What Does it all Mean?

Wondering what the difference is between a complete set and a boxed set? Here are a few explanations:

• Boxed Set: A Boxed Set is similar to a complete set, except that the manufacturer has released all of the volumes of a particular series in a collectable boxed set, and often represent some of the best anime values around. Boxed sets will be offered in the place if complete sets whenever they are available.

• Complete Set: I most cases, you may purchase all of the videos in a TV series or OVA all at once at a significant discount over the per volume price. Often, I will also bundle movies, or special releases within a common series in order to make ordering them more convenient, and help save you even more money off the regular price.

• Current Release Set: Sometimes it can take more that a year for an anime company to release all of the volumes in a particular series. In some cases, I may offer only the volumes that have been released up to the current time as a bundle (for instance, Vol # 1,2,& 3 of an 8 volume set) to make ordering easier, and to offer a discount over buying the volumes individually.

• Dubbed: Dubbed releases are in dubbed in the English Language.

• Pre Order: Means that the manufacturer has announced the date of release for a title, but it is not yet available to ship. You may still order that title, and it will ship to you on or about the estimated date of release.

• Subtitled: Subtitled releases are in Japanese Language, and have English text subtitles.

Follow the steps below to place your Anime order online.

To Place your Secure Online Order:

Select the items that you want to order by browsing the site, or use the Search engine to find what you want. You'll find detailed product and pricing information on the item pages once you have made your selection.

Order your Anime item by clicking on the "Add to Shopping Cart" button, located next to the item. This will place your item in your "Shopping Cart". From the Cart, you may complete your order by clicking the "Check Out" button.

Note: In the past, most Anime VHS video's were available in either an English Language version (dubbed), or in Japanese Language version with English subtitles (subtitled or subbed). DVD's usually have BOTH languages on them, and may be region encoded. The format of all items at the Anime Corner Store are clearly marked, however, you still need to be careful when ordering these items to ensure that you order the format that you want.

If you decide to "Keep Shopping", you will return to the previous page. You may add additional items using the "Add to Shopping Cart" button from any other page, or may review and complete your order by clicking the "View Cart" button located on the tool bar at the top of any page.

Once in the Shopping Cart screen, select "Check Out" and complete the Shipping and Billing forms. It may take a few second for the Shipping and Billing forms to appear. See the Ordering and Shipping information page for complete ordering information.

At the end of the Billing Form, select "Yes: Place Order". You will be directed to your Order Confirmation, which you may print for your records. Note that if you can see this Confirmation page, then your order has been successfully transmitted. Mission accomplished!

Note: Shortly after your order has been placed, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order, and offering payment instructions if you have elected to pre-pay by check or money order, instead of using a major credit card.

If you click on the Order button and get no response, it is probably because you can't connect securely to my server.

As a test, try going to https://www.microsoft.com secure page. If you can't connect securely to Microsoft either, then you probably are using an outdated browser program, in which case you should upgrade. Or you are behind a corporate firewall that won't allow secure connections. Ask your network administrator to fix it, or order from a different computer.
