The story is about Jun Pil-Hyun, who is a feminine pretty boy who tries to learn to be a manly man and win over the heart of his crush, Che Song-Ah, as well as escape the pressures of his disapproving father. He also wants to put Yi, his manly nemesis, in his place. He ends up finding a comic book titled "Escape from Being a Pretty Boy" and finds that it is a complete parallel to his life. He looks for the author of the book in hopes of being mentored by him, but when he finds him, he turns out to be a she and he meets two other woman who are roommates with the author of the comic book who seem to be sexually over-zealous and take him in because they are interested in the boy. He lives there to learn the art of
comic books and the art of being a man. In the meantime, Che is in love with
Gyung-Joo, the manly boy, who is also a jerk. |
